PSW1 - Basic Recording Theory
This two-day workshop is an introduction to the basics of audio theory, recording techniques and recording equipment. Taught in a local recording studio, PSW1 provides the foundation necessary to fully understand, and participate in, the more hands-on recording workshops which follow. It is designed for people with little or no previous experience in audio, as well as anyone looking to better understand the underlying science of recording. The workshop is designed to cut straight to the most relevant and important concepts of recording including:

PSW1 also provides a deep understanding of modern recording equipment and its function. Topics include:
